Molly Blackmon
Director
Molly grew up in Montgomery and is a graduate of Auburn University. She has been affiliated with MBPCP since 2007 and has worked at the preschool as an aide, a teacher and Board member. She has a professional background in sales and marketing including 12 years in pharmaceutical sales. She has two sons, Collin and Jack, (both attended MBPCP through 5K) and two stepsons: Bennett and Brice. She is married to David.
Elizabeth Powell
Infants
Elizabeth grew up in Elba, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 2002 with a degree in Hospitality Management. Upon graduating, she worked for a pharmaceutical sales company until her first child was born. She then became a nanny for a family and was with them for four years until she started at MBPC Preschool. Elizabeth is married to Taylor and they have two girls, Sara Clark and Amelia; both attended MBPC Preschool.
Robin Miller
Infants
Robin Miller grew up in Dothan, Alabama and is a graduate of The University of Alabama. She was a graphic designer at an advertising agency before working as a freelance illustrator so she could stay at home with her three girls: Macey, Marian and Caroline. Robin is married to Sam. Anna Drinkard
Infants
Anna Drinkard was born in Birmingham but spent most of her childhood in Houston, TX. Anna graduated from The University of Alabama in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Nutrition. Anna and her husband Counce have two daughters: Marlea and Annabelle. Her youngest daughter attended MBPC Preschool for two years before entering Kindergarten.
Courtney Whitten
Toddlers
Courtney grew up in Trussville and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She and her husband, Matthew, have two daughters; Mary Margaret and Scarlett, who attend MBPCP.
Leslie Culpepper
Toddlers; Aide
Leslie grew up in Vestavia Hills and attended Auburn University. She has two children who attend MBPCP. Leslie’s love of the school and teachers prompted her to leave event coordination/hospitality and be a stay-at-home mom while subbing at MBPCP in 2019. She joined the staff in 2020 as a teacher’s aide for the toddler class. Leslie loves teaching the toddlers because of how full of personality the children are and how fast they grow.
Emily Miller
Toddlers; Aide
Emily Miller grew up in Mobile and attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she played D1 tennis. After college, Emily moved to Birmingham and met her husband Adam; they have three children: Hudson, Hayes and Mary Brooks. Mary Brooks attended MBPCP and Emily joined the staff shortly after!
Laura Maddox
Toddlers
Laura grew up in Mountain Brook. She attended Samford University and has a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Laura is married and has two children attending MBPC: Elizabeth James and Chris.

Amy Knight
Two Year Olds
Amy grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended the University of Alabama. There she met her husband, Sid. They have lived in Birmingham for over 30 years and raised their four children, Sidney, Lee, Louise and Cole in the MB School system. Amy worked in Children's Ministry at Canterbury UMC for 12 years before joining the staff at MBPCP.

Cesa James
Two Year Olds
Cesa was born and raised in Birmingham. After college she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as Director of Security and Transportation at The Culver Studios. She lived in LA for 12yrs before returning to Birmingham. She has 4 children Briley, Ephram, Dixon and Tyrion.

Dena Adair
Three Year Olds
Dena has been a part of the preschool for many years. She grew up in Sylacauga and is a graduate of Auburn University. She and her husband Brett have three children: Sidnie, Francis and Rett.

Anna Katherine Scogin
Three Year Olds
Anna Katherine graduated from the University of Alabama in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She married her high-school sweetheart (Drew) and they have one daughter, Anna Lake.
April Farrelly
Three Year Olds; Aide
April is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Mountain Brook with her husband in 2018. She is a graduate of LSU and taught middle and high school social studies for ten years. April has two young boys, Easton and Patrick, who also attend MBPC.

Molly Wilson
Four Year Olds
Molly attended the preschool as a child. Her grandmother was part of the original staff, and her mother has taught here for over 25 years. She is married to Abraham and they live in Trussville with their son, Asher, who currently attends the MBPCP.
Tina Watson
Four Year Olds
Tina is originally from Pensacola, FL, but moved to Birmingham as a child. She is married to Cory and they have two daughters: Molly and Courtney. Molly is also a teacher here at MBPCP. Tina has taught at MBPC Preschool for more than 25 years!
Bethanne Taylor
Kindergarten
Bethanne grew up in Decatur and is a mother to two boys: Coe and Cam. Both boys attended MBPC Preschool, and Bethanne gives credit to the program for helping rear her children and prepare them for their social & educational development. Bethanne received a BA in Graphic Design and Art History from Auburn University and a Masters in Art Education (K-12) from UAB. She taught Elementary Art in the Homewood system for many years and has also taught toddlers and 3 & 4 year olds at MBPCP. Preparing kids emotionally, socially, spiritually and intellectually is the sole purpose behind her curriculum.
Rebecca Jane Henderson
Movement
Rebecca Jane is is a graduate of the University of Alabama. She is currently studying to be a registered dietitian and personal trainer. Rebecca Jane has always been passionate about health and fitness and loves helping children get their wiggles out!

Madison Roberts
Pastor
Madison Roberts was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and has lived most of his adult life in Atlanta, GA. He recently graduated with a Master of Divinity program at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) and serves as the Pastor at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church.
Madison is married to Rebecca and has three lively children: Hosford (13), Pryor (10), and Carolyn (7).
Madison conducts Chapel Wednesday mornings for the MBPCP children.
