Morgan Rogers
Director
Morgan grew up in Mountain Brook and attended MBPC Preschool as a young child. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and taught second grade in the Homewood City Schools after college. She has been a teacher at the preschool since 2007 and has worked with all ages from infants to 5K, even teaching Spanish! She has 5 children-Bella, Palmer, Mary Morgan, Hunter, and Oliver-who have all attended MBPC Preschool. (Oliver is currently in Mrs. Laura’s 2s!) She has been married to Justin for 18 years, and they live in Liberty Park. She is thrilled to be the new director and can’t wait to help the preschool continue to thrive!
Bethanne Taylor
Assistant Director
Bethanne grew up in Decatur and is a mother to two boys: Coe and Cam. Both boys attended MBPC Preschool, and Bethanne gives credit to the program for helping rear her children and prepare them for their social & educational development. Bethanne received a BA in Graphic Design and Art History from Auburn University and a Masters in Art Education (K-12) from UAB. She taught Elementary Art in the Homewood system for many years and has also taught toddlers , 3 & 4 year olds and 5K at MBPCP. Preparing kids emotionally, socially, spiritually and intellectually is the sole purpose behind her curriculum.
Elizabeth Powell
Infants
Elizabeth grew up in Elba, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 2002 with a degree in Hospitality Management. Upon graduating, she worked for a pharmaceutical sales company until her first child was born. She then became a nanny for a family and was with them for four years until she started at MBPC Preschool. Elizabeth is married to Taylor and they have two girls, Sara Clark and Amelia; both attended MBPC Preschool.
Robin Miller
Infants
Robin Miller grew up in Dothan, Alabama.
She met her husband Sam at The University of Alabama where she earned a BA in Children’s Illustration. Robin was a freelance illustrator at Southern Progress while staying home with their three girls, Macey, Marian and Caroline, all alumni of MBPC Preschool and the MB school system. She loves helping babies create precious, keepsake artwork with tiny hands and feet! You can check out Robin’s artist page on instagram: @robinmillerart
Anna Drinkard
Infants
Anna Drinkard was born in Birmingham but spent most of her childhood in Houston, TX. Anna graduated from The University of Alabama in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Nutrition. Anna and her husband Counce have two daughters: Marlea and Annabelle. Her youngest daughter attended MBPC Preschool for two years before entering Kindergarten.
Leslie Culpepper
Crawlers; Teacher
Leslie grew up in Vestavia Hills and attended Auburn University. She has two children who attended MBPCP. Leslie’s love of the school and teachers prompted her to leave event coordination/
hospitality and be a stay-at-home mom while subbing at MBPCP in 2019. She joined the staff in 2020.

Audrie Gay
Toddlers; Teacher
Audrie grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Oak Mountain High School. She is currently studying at Jefferson State Community College. She previously was a gymnast and later began coaching it. She and her husband are expecting a son in early May.
Linda Mason
Toddlers; Aide
Linda grew up in Mountain Brook. She graduated from University of Alabama and received her Masters degree in Education from UAB. She taught school for 41 years (32 at Brookwood Forest) before retiring to be a grandmother. She has 2 grandchildren here at the preschool.
Yaicha Brown
Toddlers; Aide
Yaicha grew up in Mountain Brook and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors in International Marketing and Spanish. She worked as a manager for an Infusion Center for 10 years. She and her husband JD have two kids, Quinn and Ana. Both of their kids attended MBPCP.
Neeley
Toddlers
Neeley grew up in Birmingham and is the proud mom of four kids and one sweet fur baby. She has always had a passion for helping young children learn and grow. She studied early childhood education at the University of Alabama and spent many years working in the field, including six years as the director of education at West Oak Academy in Marietta, Georgia. She's grateful for the opportunity to support your children as they explore, discover, and build confidence every day, and she looks forward to partnering with parents throughout the school year.
Angela Arrington
Toddlers; Aide
Angela, also known as "Kiki," was born and raised in both Vestavia and Mountain Brook. She graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 2019 and has settled back in Vestavia. She recently married her best friend from elementary school. She comes from a big Greek family with lots of children, and she is so excited to be a part of MBPCP!
Amy Bradford
Toddlers; Aide
Amy grew up in Trussville and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a nurse for 8 years before joining MBPCP in 2022. She and her husband Taylor have two sons, Austin and Owen.
Marcie Matte
P.E.
Marcie has lived in Birmingham all my life. She has four children and four grandchildren. She loves helping children develop and accomplish goals. In this class, students will learn many sports, Fair-play, and the correct way to play the game.
She works at St. Luke’s, Episcopal day school doing the same recreation program.
She works at the Mountain Brook Club, teaching swim team and swim lessons.

She is married to Frank Matte, who is also from Birmingham.
Mary Joyce Lynch
Two Year Olds
Mary Joyce was raised in Birmingham. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Her own children attended MBPCP. She began teaching at the preschool when her son was still there. She took a break from teaching for a while and returned when her children were teenagers. Mary Joyce is married to Frank, and they have two children and nine grandchildren. Eight of her grandchildren graduated from the preschool, and her youngest (Ollie-3) still attends. Also, she is Morgan’s mom!
Amy Knight
Two Year Olds; Teacher
Amy grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended the University of Alabama. There she met her husband, Sid. They have lived in Birmingham for over 30 years and raised their four children, Sidney, Lee, Louise and Cole in the MB School system. Amy worked in Children's Ministry at Canterbury UMC for 12 years before joining the staff at MBPCP.
Courtney Lancaster
Two Year Olds; Aide
Courtney grew up in Trussville, AL. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Secondary Education and has a Master’s in High School Education from UAB. She has spent the past five years teaching middle and high school English. Courtney attended MBPC Preschool as a child. Her sister and mom are the 4k teachers, and her grandmother worked at the preschool when it first opened. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Hattie, and is looking forward to working with the toddlers!
Laura Maddox
Two Year Olds; Teacher
Laura grew up in Mtn Brook and attended Sanford University for sonography. She is married to her husband, Chance. They have two children, Elizabeth James(6) and Chris(5).
Courtney Pugh
Two Year Olds; Aide
Courtney is from Montgomery, AL and moved to the Birmingham area after college. She is a graduate of Auburn University and has a degree in Hospitality Management. She and her husband have two children, one who currently attends MBPC and one who attends Brookwood Forest!
Mindy Faircloth
Two Year Olds; Aide
Mindy grew up in Mountain Brook, attended MBPC preschool, and is a long time MBPC church member. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech pathology. She is married and has a daughter and a son.
Cesa Peterson
Three Year Olds; Spanish
Cesa was born and raised in Birmingham. After college she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as Director of Security and Transportation at The Culver Studios. She lived in LA for 12yrs before returning to Birmingham. She has 4 children Briley, Ephram, Dixon and Tyrion.
Luann Smith
Three Year Olds; Aide
Luann taught at the preschool 20 years ago before her husbands job was relocated to Huntsville. She was excited when they moved back to Birmingham several years ago and she rejoined the preschool staff.
Anna Katherine Scogin
Three Year Olds
Anna Katherine graduated from the University of Alabama in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She married her high-school sweetheart (Drew) and they have one daughter, Anna Lake.
April Farrelly
Three Year Olds; Aide
April is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Mountain Brook with her husband in 2018. She is a graduate of LSU and taught middle and high school social studies for ten years. April has three children, Easton Patrick and Lillian, who also attend MBPCP.
Rebecca Henry
Three Year Olds; Aide
Rebecca is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and moved to Mountain Brook in 2019. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and taught in grades K-2 for over 17 years. Rebecca and her husband, Brian, have three boys, Mack, Cardwell, and William Beck.
Molly Wilson
Four Year Olds
Molly grew up in Trussville, AL and attended the preschool as a child. Her grandmother was part of the original staff, and her mother has taught here for over 25 years and is the other 4k teacher. She married her husband, Abraham in 2018, they live in Trussville with their son, Asher(3), who currently attends MBPCP.
Tina Watson
Four Year Olds
Tina is originally from Pensacola, FL, but moved to Birmingham as a child. She is married to Cory and they have two daughters; Molly and Courtney. Molly and Courtney are both teachers here at MBPC Preschool. Tina has taught at MBPC Preschool for more than 25 years!

Carter Beck
5k
Carter is originally from Norfolk, Virginia but attended the University of Alabama. She graduated with a dual degree in Special Education and General Education. She has taught elementary special education for 11 years and has spent the last 7 years at Brookwood Forest. She married her husband, Cary, in 2018. They have two children- Tripp (4) and Betsy (1) and an English bulldog, Babs! She loves to cook, read and sit on the beach.

Madison Roberts
Pastor
Madison Roberts was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and has lived most of his adult life in Atlanta, GA. He recently graduated with a Master of Divinity program at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) and serves as the Pastor at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church.
Madison is married to Rebecca and has three lively children: Hosford (13), Pryor (10), and Carolyn (7).

Madison conducts Chapel Wednesday mornings for the MBPCP children.
